Adoptions: What you need to know

Canine adoptions are $300 or less, which includes the cost of their spay/neuter, basic vaccinations (parvovirus, distemper, coronavirus, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, adenovirus type 1 and 2, bordatella, and rabies), microchip, deworming, 4DX testing (for heart worms, lyme, ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis), and initial flea-tick-heart worm prevention. - Feline adoptions are $125 or less (depending on breed and expenses incurred), which includes the cost of their spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, rabies, microchip, deworming, initial flea prevention, and combo test (FELV/FIV). https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WCNK/Cat
- Make an appointment: You may also schedule an appointment to view adoptable animals at the shelter 7 days a week. Some of the animals are in foster homes, so those visits will need to be scheduled and coordinated with the foster family.
